Enlyte is the combined power of three heritage brands providing critical talent, technology, and services to the insurance industry. Each a leader in its own area of expertise, they realized that they could not properly serve their clients alone, but together, through a merger and an acquisition, they offered a full spectrum of value that could lead clients forward into a new, better era. This is a conservative marketplace, with longstanding relationships, and a lot of skepticism, so finding the right name, branding, and story to invite people into their vision of the future was a huge challenge.
We started with a naming sprint for the new company that lasted just 10 days that included a deep dive into the three heritage brands and the body of work the client had already done on their market-facing positioning and language. We used an immersion session to establish filters for the name and landed on the consensus favorite, Enlyte. We then took the client through a rigorous discovery phase to reveal their shared truth and purpose, then focused it into a Strategic Brief that simplified a very complex set of dynamics with three companies becoming one. This guided our work with the client to create a Purpose First Platform, Manifesto, Integrated Story System, and Brand Identity with guidelines that honored the past while celebrating the future. Activations included an integrated website solution for Enlyte and the three heritage brands and a launch strategy with a sizzle video, special events, and many touchpoints for stakeholder engagement.
