You don’t know where you’re going until you know where you’ve been. After aggressively pursuing young investors, Boenning and Scattergood, one of the oldest independent wealth management firms in the tri-state area, found that their core of older clientele was shrinking. Though B&S saw some growth into a younger demographic, the firm desired continuity in their base as well. 20nine conceived a versatile new brand identity and position that reflected the firm’s rich tradition while still appealing to savvier, young investors. The brand communicated the firm’s focus on high-level service in hand with increased reach into financial advisory and wealth management markets. As a result, B&S has enjoyed increased success among 30-45 year-olds while realizing stability with their older demographic.
