Ashley isn’t your average designer. She isn’t afraid of getting her
hands dirty. She doesn’t back down from a challenge. And she won’t quit
until it’s just right. You could call her a perfectionist, but we like to
call her passionate. Designing isn’t the only thing she is passionate about,
though. On any given Sunday you can find her drinking up the sunshine at the beach,
searching for her next inspiring read or checking out the latest movie with her
husband. The only ripple in her pond: her crazy dog Steele and his shenanigans,
but they always make for great stories and keep life interesting.
The place you’d most like to visit?
Australia…and when I finally go I may never come back.
Chocolate or vanilla?
Vanilla — it’s completely underrated.
Favorite 80’s song?
"Love Shack" by the B-52’s…it gets me dancing every time.
Favorite book?
It changes on a monthly basis; there are so many great authors out there. But right
now I would have to say Water for Elephants.
What have you learned over your lifetime that you would tell the younger you?
Things change and nothing goes as planned. And that’s okay. Because the least
expected outcome is always so much better than the obvious one.
