Move Over, Vine
Last month 20nine discovered Vine, the latest app allowing users to create six-second videos and share them with their social networks. When I first looked at the app, my opinion was one of disinterest. I was skeptical that anyone would seriously use it; what can you really record in six seconds? The subsequent weeks proved me quite wrong.

The Revel Playground: 20nine Feel Good Friday
What happens in AC stays in AC…except our winnings, of course! For our annual “Feel Good Friday,” the 20nine team ventured to the Atlantic City coast for a bit of beach, bit more of gambling and plenty of fun. Our first stop: Revel Casino. With its open last April, we were all curious to check out the new kid on the boardwalk.

Twitter Expands with Videos
Trying to stay ahead of the social curve, Twitter is releasing an app called Vine in which users create 6-second GIFs or videos to share. Clearly our attention span is dwindling...

The 90s Are Feeling Nostalgic
The recent flurry of 90s TV remakes have been making me nostalgic about my favorite childhood shows. But as I’m watching them, I can’t help but think about how grim the plotlines are.

Is That for Real!?
Here at 20nine knowing Photoshop is part of our job. And yesterday, while waiting for Hurricane Sandy’s wrath to fizzle out, we couldn’t help but notice people’s sometimes feeble, sometimes successful attempts at creating the perfect “fake” Sandy photo to post online.

Jumping in with Both Feet
I wouldn't exactly call myself a newbie, but then again it is the first time my title didn't end with 'intern'.

The Adventures of 29frogs and Their New-found Friends.
To help celebrate the 2012 Leap Year, 20nine created 29frogs, a social experiment that involved "releasing" 29 plushie frogs into the world on February 29th, just to see where they might travel and the adventures they might have. Each of the 29 frogs was mailed to a friend, client or colleague of the agency to "get the ball hopping."

Inspiration Series: Found Letter Formations
Here at 20nine the exploration and experimentation of typographic treatments has become a standard practice in our daily design routines. For inspiration we gather our assets from web searches to magazine clippings to hand-crafted drawings. But we often forget that we are surrounded everyday by very shapes that form our alphabet. So this inspiration series is dedicated to found object letter formations found in our office.

Implications of MegaUpload
When anyone thinks of MegaUpload, the first thought that comes to mind is probably, "Oh, it's the place where you can watch movies for free." While this was a common use for the site, there were plenty of legitimate users who used the service to store their files. These files were business documents, photos, and school work. Now, the United States Government has stated that they intend on destroying all of MegaUpload's data.

The Most Challenging Branding Project...Ever
The joy of finding out that we are having another daughter in February was quickly overshadowed by the realization that my wife and I would have to agree on another name for a girl.
