Implications of MegaUpload
When anyone thinks of MegaUpload, the first thought that comes to mind is probably, "Oh, it's the place where you can watch movies for free." While this was a common use for the site, there were plenty of legitimate users who used the service to store their files. These files were business documents, photos, and school work. Now, the United States Government has stated that they intend on destroying all of MegaUpload's data.

The Most Challenging Branding Project...Ever
The joy of finding out that we are having another daughter in February was quickly overshadowed by the realization that my wife and I would have to agree on another name for a girl.

What Do Your Holiday Decorations Say About You?
The Purist, The Perfectionist, The Sentimentalist. We know we’re just scratching the surface. So help us out. Tell us what archetype best fits you or better yet, send us an original archetype.

Oh Tannenbaum
It's that time of year again. And even though it’s not yet December, my family and I have already decorated for the holiday season. And at the center of it all, standing oh so majestic, is our Christmas tree, a tradition that stands the test of time.

The True Meaning of Halloween
Ever since I was a little kid, Halloween never even came close to one of my favorite holidays. I’m not sure of the exact reason why, but it always seemed rushed and last minute, unlike other holidays when I had time to relax, take in the moment, and reflect on the holiday. Maybe it was my parents’ fault due to their demanding jobs, or maybe it just didn’t mean as much to them as other “family holidays.”

You're Only As Good As the Story You Pull Out of Your Pocket
My grandfather has used that sentence to greet me all my life. No warm embrace. No smile. Not even a handshake.

A New Way to Listen
When it comes to music we all go about getting it in different ways, some more ethical than others. Some of us buy our music, a lot of us don't buy our music.

If Your House Were Burning Down, What Would You Take?
Buy 9-volt batteries. It's just one of the handful of things I reminded myself to get as I left the house the other morning.

Getting in Touch with Reality
I’ll shamelessly admit that I’ve been a longtime fan of reality television. I religiously tuned in to the Real World, the Real Housewives, The Bachelor (and of course, The Bachelorette - it’s not like you can watch one without watching the other), and TLC’s resident screaming Italian baker, Cake Boss. Before I knew it, I was a reality junkie. That is, until recently.

Jimmies Versus Sprinkles: The Great Debate
I've always loved ice cream, always craved it. Whenever I'd get sick as a kid, the only thing I could stomach was ice cream. Chocolate, in particular. Big scoops adorned with hot fudge, whipped cream, maraschino cherries, and jimmies– Jimmies?
